Samriddhi Speaker Update:
Mr. Rajnikant Patel, MD&CEO of Bombay Stock Exchange has confirmed as keynote speaker for the session on 'Global Integration of Stock Markets' at Samriddhi 2007. He is the second speaker to confirm after Mr. CJ George, MD & Chief Promoter of Geojit Financial Services, one of India's largest and most respected brokerage firms. We are also awaiting final confirmation from Mr. Jignesh Shah, MD, Multi Commodity Exchange of India.
The purpose of this session is to highlight the risks and opportunities for India as global stock exchanges acquire stake in exchanges in India. This is against the backdrop of recent stake acquisitions by NYSE in NSE and Deutsche Borse in BSE.
